How to make door visible on two walls?

Hello,

can someone please tutor me how to solve the problem that I am having. I have a door placed on one wall

http://prntscr.com/ivaeo0 but the same door is not showing on the next wall above http://prntscr.com/ivav2l

Is the solution to make hole with "opening" command? But if I do that and later when I decide to perhaps move the door

then the hole will not follow and I have to move the hole every time I move the door, right? When using the Opening command http://prntscr.com/ivb7pf

Also need to tell you, perhaps this is important info: the wall above is 10 mm thinner then the wall under

http://prntscr.com/ivayx7

Thanks in advance for info and help.

Best regards,

Miro

Do you *need* it to be two separate walls?

I'd be inclined to do it as a single wall and create a new style to incorporate the different thickness/materials/construction.

Otherwise, yes, you'll have to use an opening in the second wall and adjust that manually whenever two door or either of the two walls changes.

Hi danellis,

yes you are so right. Just learned how to change components in a wall in horizontal direction (never done that before ) and now it is just the way I wanted.

http://prntscr.com/ivhhyd and http://prntscr.com/ivhkip

Thank you.

Best regards to you.
