Default Another graduation day for my podium design

There was a good shot today of the podium in front of the building facade that it was based on.

Still not happy with the choice to move the columns in but what can a designer do

As a woodworker of many years, and occasional designer of furniture, both custom, and for production, it looks real good to me f700es.

It is nice to see it referenced against the building it emulates.

Thanks Dadgad, it's a REAL improvement over the older one. I am my own worst critic!

Oh good! I thought when revisiting this that the columns on the building were fluted, unlike those on the podium. I now realize that my eye was being mislead "down the garbage path" by the borderline optical illusion, of the vertical members in the railing, which is seen in front of the UNfluted columns.

I used to be reasonably observant.
