Export points of a polyline or spline with cosine (curvature dependent) spacing

Recommended Posts

I am trying to get the point data of airfoil sections along a 3d wing / turbine blade geometry. I am able to get the sections in spline format using INTERFERE command.

I know that there are several ways and even some lisps to export points of a polyline or spline, given the desired number of points or spacing. What I want is a routine that determines the spacing between points along s/pline, depending on the curvature (also known as cosine spacing), i.e. in the regions with high curvature, there should be denser points and vice-versa (you can see the effect of this here by generating points with cosine spacing on and off). Are there any lisp or other way for that?

Thanks so much in advance.
