Hatch Kit issues

I have had to re-install my ACLT-12 on a new computer that has Windows 10

The older one was destroyed

I installed Hatch Kit http://www.hatchkit.com.au/

Created a Folder in Documents for Custom hatches

Created a pattern in ACLT and Copied it to the Clipboard

Pasted it from the Clipboard to Hatch Kit "new pattern"

Saved it

saved it to Custom Hatch Patterns in documents

Created a File path in AC under File/ options

Everything as should be to save and use a hatch file

Opened ACLT Custom Hatch , saw the new hatch and could see a portion on the new hatch in the Swatch Window

Applied new hatch

It comes out BLACK every time

****************************

1. Turned "FILL" on and off

Hatch turned from solid black to solid white

2. Scaled Down to 0.100

same result

3. Scaled Up to 100.00 , 1000.00 , and even 10,000.00

same solid color result

4. Drew the new pattern on the HK screen, saved it accordingly

same result

5. spent two weeks on emails with HK tech guys

same result

Anybody have any suggestions?

It sounds like the hatch is too dense, but we need to see a .dwg to know for sure, and also a copy of the .pat file. What I would be looking for in the first place is to see the sort of lengths used in the .pat file and the size of the area you are trying to hatch. If you see a preview then it certainly sounds like it is just a matter of scale. But descriptions of a problem and the actual cause of that problem are difficult to discover without having the actual data.

I would guess it's a Windows 10 and/or graphics card issue, AutoCAD LT 2012 wasn't designed for Windows 10.

Does this happen with the standard hatches that came with AutoCAD?

As mentioned the actual files would be nice so we don't have to take guesses.
