alijahed Posted July 16, 2018 Share Posted July 16, 2018 Hi All, When I switch between layouts it takes 1min for AutoCAD to get it done. I can switch to those layouts I had opened before almost instantly but to switch to the ones I haven't opened before takes ages. I have a feeling if somehow we force AutoCAD to load all the layouts in cash memory at the beginning will solve the problem. maratovich Posted July 17, 2018 Share Posted July 17, 2018 When switching to a new tab, all the viewports are regenerated. Regeneration takes a long time if the viewport contains many elements. This must be so, it is impossible to change. The only solution is to disable all viewports before opening the tab. Then it will open very quickly. Then, on this tab, enable the desired viewport.
