    Default Reverse Engineering Project

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

Looking for a good reverse engineering project for school. Ive been using Inventor for The last 9 months in school now and I am a little rusty on AutoCAD so something somewhat simple would be good. The only requirements are it has to have a few different fasteners and not too many "vendor" parts. Any ideas let me know please

    Thanks

How about a grinding vise? It's used by tool and die makers to hold small parts. It has a slide plate with screw handle (knurled). The only fasteners are actually three small set screws which secure the baseplate to the slide.
