AFAIK - there are no "disabled features" in the student version. Can you post the drawing? Is this an english version of AutoCAD running on an english version of Windows?

Dear All;
I have Autocad 2007 Student Version. When I try to dimension a wall thats 13'-2 1/2", I get back -2' 13 1/2". The feet and the ones units get reversed. I've tried various dim style settings, and also tried "regional settings" in windows. But nothing works. If I go to decimal, or engineering units the dimension feature works just fine.
So after 40-hours of legwork on this one, someone suggested that this may be one of the "disabled features" in the student version.
Are there any sites that list what features are disabled in the student version? I tried the first 50 websites back from a google search and nothing.
Would love any help on this.
Thanks.

Dear rkmcswain,
Thanks,Thanks,Thanks. I was glad the problem I was trying to fix is not a disabled feature. I went back to the "Regional and Language" setting control panel in Windows. Two weeks ago, this was suggested as the fix, so I opened this control panel, saw the drop-down menu with "English" as an option and selected it. I still had the problem. When I saw your response, I put my "disabled Theory" on the shelf and went back to the "Regional and Language Setting" control panel. Much to my surprise, I found 5 different drop-down menu's, shattered/buried across all 3 tabs in the control panel, which had some sort of query that had "english" as an option. I selected "english" on all of these, deselected the non-english stuff. Closed the Control Panel, fired up AUTOCAD, and low-and-behold, my dimensions are fully operational. All is well in the world (well as least my world :-) Thanks for your reply/help(couldn't of done it with out you, taqr07
