Default Jumpy Crosshairs when DYN Input on (2007)

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

My crosshairs are very erratic when the dynmaic input is on. However, other machines in our office, exactly the same machines, same ram, same OS, same video card, same monitors, do not have this problem, which seems to indicate that it is an AutoCAD setting. I tried turning off all running osnaps, making sure grid was off, making sure snap was off, and turning off adaptive degradation. Using OpenGL w/ hardware accel turned on, but have also tried turning off hardware accel. This happens 2D and 3D. It's almost as if there is a lag while the info in the dynamic input display updates as I move around..
Windows XP Pro SP2, 3ghz Intel P cpu, 2 gb memory, ACAD 2007, NVIDIA Quadro FX 560 w/ latest drivers

    Thanks!

I've noticed the same thing on my computer (I have ADT 2007). I just turned the dynamic input off and that seemed to fix it. Of course, if you actually WANT the dyn on, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe wait until they fix it in later versions? (I know, that isn't very helpful)

I have the same problem but in 2004. It just started recently. I'm thinking when I loaded Call of duty 4. I've gone back in and reset my graphics card (resolution) to various settings but it still does it. Cuts me down to half speed. Anyone help with this?

How much RAM you got? Try increasing your Swap file size.

ok, remind me again how to do that?? haven't messed with that stuff since DOS. I'm running a Gforce 6600 graphics card, and like I said it just started doing this within the last month or so.

I wish DYN worked better on my machine, I would like to use it but it flickers so much and takes too much time to regen itself over and over as you move the cursor. I hope someone here has a proven solution to making it work better.

Have no problems with the DYN. Is it in certain files or even in small DWGs?
