Default Looking for advice and help with AutoCad14

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I am from the "old school" of drafting in the field of Architecture doing drawings for construction on the board. I took a class in Autocad at a Junior College about seven years ago not thinking I would ever really use it but was "intererested". It was with AutoCad Release 11 and the following semester I took AutoCad Release 12 but dropped the course due to relocating to the Pacific Northwest and retirement. My old employer has recently contacted me to see if I was interested in doing drawings for him once again due to the ability to do drawings using email and the Internet. I was very good in the area of design and structure. I have WindowsXp and AutoCad2000 and am told I need a workbook from AutoCad14 that would take me through all of the necessary steps of brushing up on what I had learned long ago and be ready to take on actual Architectural drawings verses Mechanical with this knowledge. Any feed back or advice here would be greately appreciated.

Well, you could always start by looking at the R14 tutorials here: http://www.cadtutor.net/acad/index.html. There are also lots of other sites around with free tutorials. See here: http://www.cadtutor.net/acad/general.../resource.html for a start.
Tip: Please do not PM or email me with CAD questions - use the forums, you'll get an answer sooner.
