Hi guys ... AutoCAD (using 2007 Version) has Isometric views set for us, well nothing much different however This week my tutor put up a task for us ... So we have to Draw a Complex shape tile then extrude & explode ....Although this part is quite simple and straightforward i still have doubts about if i should draw in two grids one set as OBLIQUE and the other set as Isometric!!! But i still think i can easily draw in isometric then manipulate the drawing until get the coordinates for the Oblique view.....

    have a look at this!!!

I think you have answered your own question in the images supplied.

Is it to be true 3d or is it to be a work of art in which case distorted 3d is better.
