This would save us so much time in setting up our design documents that we have to send out to clients. It is like photoshop and sketchup had an illegitamate child. I can't wait!

Good, I think you can install it now. Aye, just checked. Free now then pay if you wait till it actually comes out.

Looks like sketch up on crack! Of course it's not like I'd be able to get a copy anyways...

Free to download right now. I have been playing with it for a little while now myself. Not sure if the preview versions expire or not (most likely will though).

    from the eula...

This Agreement will terminate automatically on May 1, 2007 or upon commercial release (if any) of the Pre-Release Product licensed under this Agreement.
i'm definately going to test it out...i can't remember the software name but there was a similar 3rd party package that did the same thing...it was a few years back when i came across it on the web and it seemed quite expensive ($1200?)...currious to see what the price point will be if/when it will be released...

perhaps, but this is still beta software which is not meant for any legal commercial use (even if the software still functions past the "expiry" date)...

It appears that preview 4 was released yesterday. It does seem to load faster than #3. Have fun

    Default autodesk impression

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

For those of you who have tried this beta version....

Is Impression tied to Autocad (ala plugin like M-Color) or is it completely stand-alone? Could it feasibly be installed on a machine without ACAD installed on it? Anybody hear an anticipated price for the final product?
    Thanks.

    Andy
