    Default External References palette

Is it just me, or is the new External References palette in ACAD 2007 rubbish!!!

You can get the old style xref dialogue back if you set SDI (single document Interface) on, but then you can only open one drawing at a time.

Does anyone know of a way to get rid of this without resorting to the SDI route.

In a nutshell, I create 3D models from the client's CAD files or design sketches, which I then use to produce high quality rendered images. Click on the link in my signature to view my portfolio. I'm always looking for work, so let me know if you need any renders. :)

That's the first thing I did when I installed 2007. Found the Classicxref command and the Classicimage command. I don't like that new "all in one" palette. I like to keep my images separate from my xrefs.
