ADT 2006.

So I XREF a floor plan into a DWG as a base for the reflected ceiling plan. (I know, I know, but one thing at a time for the ninnies in the office who want to go back to drafting tables). The XREF contains spaces, and when I apply a room tag, it reads through the XREF to the info in the data set that gives name and number.

When I go to attach a ceiling grid to the space in the XREF, it doesn't "see" the space like the room tag did?

Anyone know how to deal with this?
