I am attempting to add some dynamic functionality to my existing 3D blocks. So far it is quite a pain in the neck. The block editor only seems to recognize points on the x-y plane and if you attempt to define a parameter anywhere else it says invalid 2-D Value. Also, the -view and -ucs commands don't work, so you have to use 3DO and then right-click and then use the preset views. So that changes the view but the UCS is still aligned to the XY plane (top/world) view so you can't draw anything up and down the z-axis. Really frustrating!
Any suggestions?
I am using AutoCAD 2006 (Full Version).
Thanks.

The way I've been getting around it is to add insertion points on the X/Y plane underneath where I would want to snap the dynamic properties to. If its an existing block I just use refedit instead of the block editor. Dynamic blocks were meant for 2D so getting to do anything in 3D is a pain in the butt.
