Divide

How do I divide a polyline into 4 equal segments? I tried using the divide command, but still resulted in a continuous line.

the divide command doesn't actually cut the segment but rather places either nodes or blocks...i thought i read somewhere around here that someone made a lisp routine to do that...if not you'll have to use the nodes as the first and second point in the break command and repeat that command for each node...and to see the nodes make sure that pdmode is set to other then 0--i like 3 myself ...
