Can you convert metric into inches on 2007/2008 AutoCad? I got a drawing in metric I need to change into inches.

There have been absolutely so many questions about this on this forum.

Go do a search, that way you will get a better understanding of this topic then I can give you here.

Basically you have to rescale everything in your drawing back to inches.....I'm not real sure....but it's like a rescale of the order of a factor of.......3.128 to bring it to feet......then I guess its another 12 to bring it to inches .

If drawing is in metric millimeters, then you need to reduce size of objects, by a factor of 25.4 (mm/inch). So in the scale command, for scale factor use 10/254 (since decimals not allowed in factor)

If drawing is in meters, scale objects larger, by 10000/254

I use REFERENCE for my scale factor so Old Length = 25.4, new length = 1.
