Chances are that CDILLA is still running, and your trying to load up MAX again. Kill off CDILLA and you probably will be ok.

Just use Task Manager to shut down all threads of CDILLA if its running (I am assuming you are using Win2k or XP). THEN restart MAX, and "usually" you should be back to normal - unless its some other problem.

What happens is that its lisense manager (called CDILLA) still runs, even though MAX just crashed. So when you go to reload up MAX, CDILLA tries to get reloaded also, but then gets confused, cuz its already running - thus giving you a prompt similiar to the one you posted. Ofcourse thats just ONE problem, and your particular one might be something completely different.
