    Default Control + Z to undo doesn't work

    Registered forum members do not see this ad.

    Can anyone please tell me why my ctrl+z is not working to undo.

    try the UNDO command instead.

    Right, UNDO is the Autocad command. Ctrl+Z is a windows command. Check your Options dialog, 'User Preferences' tab under the "Windows Standard Behavior" section, make sure that "Windows Standard Accelerator Keys" is checked.

    Be careful - somebody could have set AutoCADs shortcut keys to be doing something else when you hit 'ctrl' 'z', if I'm not mistaken

    I have found that sometimes im still in a command and ctrl z wont work, in which case i just hit Esc a few times. Just my $0.02 gl with your problem

    Registered forum members do not see this ad.

    The CTRL+Z has a long tradition- a lot of programs can recognize this combination as "Undo"
    It's nice to be nice, but sometimes is nicer to be evil!.
