My version is AutoCAD 2005. In using HELP to find out how to use the FIT command where you fit in a certain amount of text into boundries, I can't find the FIT tab mentioned in HELP. I just get one dialog box but there is no FIT tab.
    TIA, Frank C.

At least in 2004, you can't "fit" mtext...not sure about 2005, though

    Default mtext?

I really do not know what mtext is. I used dt in the commcand box to enter my text. I have the student version of 2005 but as far as I know this version should not be incomplete and lack any tabs or options or commands that would deal with the FIT operation.
    TIA, Frak C.

_FIT is a standard TEXT parameter. Just type TEXT of DTEXT at the command line.

    _Justify

    _Fit

    Pick points...

Sorry, I just don't like pull down menus. Too slow and cumbersome. -David
