If you require help with AutoCAD, it's really important to mention the AutoCAD version you are using in the question. This will help everyone to answer your question more quickly. There's a massive difference between AutoCAD R14 and 2002 and also many differences between full AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT.

 

Also, if you have a question, post this once in the most appropriate forum. Please don't make multiple postings asking the same question. Most of us read posts in all forums so there's little chance of your question being missed.

Maybe we could all contibute to a FAQ for this forum ?

 

things like -

 

Hit f1 and search the help index, I did this when learning

acad and it's amazing how good the tutorials are.

 

Also there is the learning assistance CD. Hmmm now how many

of us chose NOT to install this ??? Come on hands up !

every time i read your post. i make it a point to hit following link:

 

"http://www.autocadzone.com/".

 

but it seems this link is no more in working condition. as i get a message everytime "cannot find server"..

 

check it out and help me.

Ah, I don't own that site anymore but I do own the eezylearn one. Has not been updated in YEARS sorry,could be out of date.
