Hello I am new to the site and would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.
When I have finished my drawing and go to plot it off it all looks fine but when i print it off the 'bhath' is not showing up on the paper. The BHatch shows up on the autocad but not on the paper???![]()

Just a suggestion: change the title of the thread so it will be more easy to find for users that has similar problems
Probably CromCruithne gave you already the right suggestion (I attached an image to make that more clear)
As you probably know layer defpoints can not be printed (plot is set off as default and can not be changed)
Ye i will change the title how u du it ha ha. Iv checked and it is turned on to plot.

Iv changed it.Now when i select the Bhatch, click the internal point then click to confirm again, it should usually be ok and i can see the bhatch but for some reason it doesnt show up now. It was showin up on the drawing before then not plotting off but now the BHatching wont even show up on the drawing.
P.S I have tried changing the scales and the boundary is fine(no gaps)
I really need to get this sorted because it is such a pain !!!![]()

Tom Turner....
I'm a bit confused.......you go to HATCH....then you select internal point....so that HATCH selects your surround......am I correct so far???? ......
If that is the case....why are you selecting again to confirm the selection???? My belief is that second selection cancels the command......I may well be wrong here.....
Yes... correct so far but then i click enter and the window pops up agen so i click OK to confirm it. It usually works but for some reason it has stopped workin all togetherusually when i click ok to confirm you can see the bhatching but i can't now!!! And even when i could see the bhatching before it was not plotting but was showing up on the drawing....

If you click in an already selected area you will get the message "boundary duplicates an already existing boundary" but the selection will not be cancelled.
I would first check that al your objects are on the same plan (you can do it switching between 3D views).
I supose you are drawing in imperial units, if so _measurement and check that the value is 0.
To avoid problems make sure that the origin is not too far from your draw (sometimes hatches have problems for that reason).
Try different patterns with different scales and see if you are able to get a visible hatch.... Solid hatch is good for this test 'cos don't have to be scaled.
Let us know the result of these test.... I know is boring, but it is not easy to guess what's going on in your draw.
Eventually (if the problem is only on a single draw) could you post it or load it up on a sharesite as http://www.unbase.com/ ?

ahhhhhhhh....I think I know the problem.......
Your scale factor you set in the dialogue window is inadaquate....set it to something incredibly stupid......like 0.001 (or even lower) then see what happens......if it is too tight...delete the hatch...then do HATCH again....this time your entries in the dialogue will default......just keep changing the scale factor until you get it right........![]()
