    Default Upgrade from Student Version

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I have bought a Laptop that has AutoCAD 2006 STUDEN VERSION installed, I have tried to remove this using Add/Remove (Windows XP) and then tried installing my own AutoCAD 2006. I get confirmation that the install has been successful but when I open AutoCAD I am confronted with the Student Version !
Could someone help me with this, are there registers that I need to delete seperately or am I missing something during the new Install ?
    Thanks.

In a nutshell, I create 3D models from the client's CAD files or design sketches, which I then use to produce high quality rendered images. Click on the link in my signature to view my portfolio. I'm always looking for work, so let me know if you need any renders. :)

    Default Thanks

    Cad64,
Thanks for the links, I followed the instructions from Autodesk initially but found that I had to also delete all *.dwg drawings - even those that I had only opened in Student Version.
    Until next time..... cheers.
