Default Accidental 2D view to 3D view. Revert?

    Hi.

I feel silly, don't know how this happened. Possibly somehow I held shift and moved cursor slightly right before saving the drawing - but I certainly don't remember it looking like this the last time I opened it.

It was a regular 2d plan of some room. Default Acad black background, XY coordinate system. When I opened it today I saw the three-dimensional XYZ cone-arrow triad in the bottom left corner, gray background (like in 3D views) and a much slower operation.

Is there a way to turn the drawing into its 2d view?

    Nevermind. Fixed it.

    View/Visual Styles/
was set to /3D Wireframe instead of /2D Wireframe
Still have no idea how that happened. Is there a keyboard shortcut for it that can be accidentally triggered?

    Thanks for reading.

    type:

    -VIEW <Enter>
    Enter an option [?/Delete/Orthographic/Restore/Save/sEttings/Window]: T <Enter>

    ***EDIT***

Oh was it just a Visual Style? Sorry... I thought you accidentally knocked the view off. Glad you got it fixed either way.

    Just try _shademode > _2 (2dwireframe)
    and them _-view > _top

Hope this work (if it was a normal 2D drawing it should)

Glad to hear you sorted out the problem.
For the future: if the UCS icon shows its 3D face probable the view direction is not perpendicular to your XOY plane. Use the PLAN command first -this will fix the *problem*. If the UCS still doesn't return to the 2D look, try the SHADEMODE to fix the *symptom*
