    Default Table Frustration

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I have a problem with breaking a table. I have broken a large table into two parts and both parts have the 'header row'. When I formatted my table style I made a double line between header row and data rows but when I break the table this double line is not carried over to the second part. There does not seem to be a facility to format the row/cell border along top or bottom only. Does anyone know otherwise?

Select the cells, right click and select cell borders...

You can set the border on each side of the selected cells.

You can also go into properties and change the border settings.

    Good morning Profcad.
Your suggestion only allows me to change border on all sides. I only want the double line between header and data rows.
I was able to set this double line in my initial table format but it doesn't follow when I break the table.
