Default Problems after emailing dxf files to CNC ppl

    Hello all, i'm new here!

Hopeing that someone can help me with an issue, I have autocad 2008 which i use to make 2d drawings of brackets etc which i then save as .dxf and send to my cnc guy. We have been having a lot of trouble with files randomly not working. I tried to solve the problem buy sending a particular drawing saved in each acad version of .dxf and we managed to find which one would open. However after sending some other drawings in the same .dxf format they don't want to open.
I have tried myself opening the drawings without problem. I change the lines to polylines before hand so they are one continuous line on his request. This didn't cause a problem with the initial version.dxf test we did.

I can't work out the problem and its driving me (and them) nuts. I can't see where the problem lies. One day it does work the next it doesn't.

I send the files by email, where they download them to a usb stick, from there they transfer them to their computer for the CNC machine. I am not sure what software they use but they are unable to update it (not available). The acad version i save the .dxf files in is 2000/LT200.

I don't know what else to tell you, is anybody able to help?

    Regards,

    Mark de Jong.

Also thought i would let you know that we tried to export as EPS file but while they received the file fine it arrived around 2 times larger than the original drawings so somehow they have been enlarged????
