Your IT dept needs to at least give you "power user" rights to the machine or you are hosed. AutoCAD needs to make read and writes to the registry.

Hi all,
I cannot use things like vlax-ename->vla-object, vlax-property-available-p, vlax-put-property and few others in VLISP in AutoCAD 2000. I'm getting error message:
;error: com Exception: Error accessing the OLE registry.
During startup AutoCAD I can see window with message "Failed to update system registry. Please try using regedit"
Similar story when I'm trying to open VBA editor - "Failed to create VBA Project"
I looks like I don't have enoguh access rights.. (IT Department means Instant Troubles Department?)
Any ideas?
