    Default Loading LISP Commands

    Registered forum members do not see this ad.

    I have multiple LISP files to allow me to make the use of my AutoCad 2008 program easier. I have tried to follow the AutoCad help and either I cant find or I am just confused with the instructions. Could someone please make the process a little clearer for me. Thanks.

    err I don't know about 2008, but try typing in 'appload' in order to bring up the command box to load which ever lisp you want. From there you can choose which lisps load with the starting of the program everytime as well.

    I'm also looking into upload however, you may find this usefull

    I reaload my lisp often. (I edit my lisp often) I don't stuff around loading via the dialoge box

    instead I have it written on a button on my menu

    [_Button("hotkey", "loadlisp.bmp", "loadlisp.bmp")]^C^C(load "htk");

    Sorry, I meant to say I'm looking into autoload or how to load a lisp from starting autocad.

    The button I created in my menu is my shortcut

    You can do the same by typing on the command line instead of opening the dialoge box

    (load "NAMEofLISP")

    If you enter APPLOAD in the command line the Load/Unload application window will open. You can upload from here your lisp files. Also here you can drag and drop any lisp file into the startup suit -this way those lisp files will load when AutoCAD starts

    Default Auto Reload of lisp commands at every start up.

    Once I load all of these Lisp commands what is the steps that I need to take to have them load at every start up of Autocad.
