    Default extension line mystery

Do you have any idea why I’m having problems with the following?
    (Autocad 2007)

Using the same identical styles in Design Style Manger for dim style.
    Have checked this intricately.

In one file working fine… in 2nd file, if I dimension anywhere on the screen without actually snapping to anything or associating the baseline to anything the Dim style works fine.
BUT if I snap to any portion of the actual drawing I loose my (200) extension line

    on both sides.

This is what started what has taken me the last 5 hours to try and sort out.

What am I missing ? And what do you think might be preventing the extension lines from appearing? Im exhausted trying to wrk out what the problem might be?

G'day, JimB from Adelaide. Welcome to the forum. How do you reckon your teams are going to go in the finals, that's if they made the finals. One of them should have.

But hang on, enough of this frizalous banter, your problem.

Go to DDIM and set the dimstyle you want there. Get back if it doesn't work.

I thought you had looked into the DDIM dialog and couldn't find the right setting.

If you want to attach a file, hit the button "Go Advanced" and then "Manage Attachments".
