    Default PowerPoint 97

So I've created a PowerPoint 97 slide show and have added an MP3 to the first slide. It seemed to work beautifully, but when I uploaded it to the web, not only do I have to click on the icon to get the music to start, but that click brings up Windows Media Player, which I then have to minimize. THEN, the music "stutters" when the slides change.

I've burned it to a CD and the music "stutters" there, too. Can anyone help with this, please? Thanks.

Well, I don't recommend running PPT presentations from the web, especially if you have heavy content and especially with version 97. The later versions deal with this stuff much better and you can even add the free Microsoft Producer to turn it into a real multi-media app. that will deal with on-line content too.

Not sure why your CD presentation should stutter unless it's an old slow drive.

I used PowerPoint; I have a lot of nice presentations, but it's for the first time I hear about Microsoft Producer. Please tell me (us?) more about. And if it’s free, probably you have an URL for us?
    Thank you in advance!

    Yes, sorry.

Producer is a multi-media add-on for PowerPoint 2002 that can be used to prepare presentations for viewing in a web browser and it's free.
