    Good morning Boys and Girls

I trust this finds you all fine and dandy on what is a sunny day hear in the UK’s second city.

This is my second post of the day to do with the black art of web site building.

I notice that a small bespoke icon if that’s what it is, appears on the address of some sites like cadtutor and as highlighted in the screen shot. I was wondering what it was and how would I go about installing one on web site. So if any of you wiz kids out their how understand this black art please take a little time out and explain it to me.

    Kind regards Alan

That article is a little dated but the technique should work OK. The simplest way to do this is simply to add an icon file called favicon.ico to your root folder - that's all, no need for any additional markup.
Tip: Please do not PM or email me with CAD questions - use the forums, you'll get an answer sooner.

    Hi Dave

Thank you thank you for your input most appreciated, so I was wondering if you had any suggestions regarding my other thread

    http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=16688

I have had a look at one or two bits and bobs to do with this but they talk about forms I don’t want a form or I don’t think I want a form; all I am looking for is something simple.

It may be a good idea if you or any one else have any ideas that it is published on the above thread.
