    AutoCAD help with dynamic block

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I tried to make a dynamic block. I'm on a brink of giving up and start learning lisp.
I need this product stretched without changing the angel of the diagonal line.

    Can anybody help?

    Default Thanks...

I should have come here earlier.
I still have to find out wat you have done, but that's a nice trick.

It's a little bit more complicated than this. I attached an other file. I hope its a little more clear. Sorry for that.

does it need to have infinite adjustment or only a few known dimension sets?

It needs to be no wider than 130mm (extually 120, but this is just to be safe) and no smaller than 35mm
The constuction could be 1500mm high.

The left vertical line needs a minimal of 50mm. but this is more than hope to get with Dynamic blocks. This is more a lisp thing. When I have time between school and work i'll work on it.

this is fairly close to what you want!...so go ahead and do some reverse engineering on it...of note is the stretch parameter that does the 45 degree angle...i used a multiplier of 1.41421356 (squareroot of 2 as it's the hypothenus (sp?)) to keep it lined up with the left side as it stretches...

    enjoy!

    Everyone thanks for trying.

Now I have to find out how it works.
