I don't mean to be rude now, but would you rather I come to your office, and set it all up for you ?
I learnt the hard way with everything AutoCAD ie. self-taught.
I think it's time for me to retire on this particular thread, I have given you lots of help, but still you come back for more.
Go try stuff out for yourself, you will learn much quicker what is going on, rather than being informed about what is going on.

sorry i am on a roll now it was the scale thing that was holding me back!

i have typical details to be done by wednesday and i wanted to get them sorted with annotative dims/text as they are normally inserted at different scales.

thank you so much for your help to date

Cheers, you two. I just printed this thread out and added it to my Annotative Reference folder. This thread helps to put the issue into a sort of perspective and sequence.

    Thanks.

P.S. Happyunited, is this the start of the avatar/soccer war?

Okay, so who currently owns United? At this point:

    Blue 1
    Happy 2

Now, getting back to the annotation scale.

Blue, I have found all the tutorials very confusing. Only from the perspective that when I set every thing up, then strange things happen in new drawings I create. And it takes a while to recover. Particularly in Model Space.
