Default My text goes haywire when editing

I have a survey with existing text on it, which I need to edit. When I pick the text, it increases in size about 10 times, and duplicates itself just as many. Needless to say, I still haven't corrected it as of yet.

    what program produced the original?

I think there's a command that does something similar to purge, except that it erases duplicates as well

when you open the drawing do you get a proxy warning?

I believe the survey is Map 3d. When I open it I don't get any warning boxes.

Have you considered that the text is annotative? I would suggest you get onto NBC fast. He will sort it out for you very quickly (I hope).
