Hi Guys,
Im having problems with the UCS icon in the lower left hand corner of the screen with some drawings.
The X-axis is showing a red arrow, the Y-axis is green and the Z-axis is blue.
The text is all funny too....could I have a 3d something or other tuned on somehow??...how do I turn it off??
Cheers in advance .![]()

If you mean the difference between the 2 pics,
then try Shademode = 2D.

Nice one, Paul.
Strix, we don't. But Paul has just given us a couple of nice images to get one up.![]()

None yet, haven't even started this FAQ yet. But already a couple of good images.
lpseifert, you got more? Better still, you want to have a crack at writing this FAQ ?![]()

Seriously, if you want to, please write away. In fact if more members would get involved in this, the happier I will be.![]()

Thats exactly it......what a nightmare....
I must have turned it on by accident. It can be frustrating as cad won't behave well when its on....in terms of text etc...
Many thanks to all of you who responded.....been using cad for years and never came across it before....how embarrasing!

Not with the 3D ucsicon, we don't use 3D, so no problem We also have our ucsicon OFF as a default, it just gets in the way for us. In fact, until we had to start writting FAQs on this stuff I'd never seen a 3D ucsicon.![]()
