    Question Please help

    I am currently drawinging floor plan of a room and wanting to do elevation. How can I rotate the floor plan so that when I draw elevation it matchs with floor plan. Please help.

    I'm not quite sure what you're after. The command ROTATE lets you rotate your drawing quite easily. I would draw lines (RAY or XLINES) from the floorplan to the elevations so that they match.

    I hope that is what you're after - otherwise, please come back with more info

    You can also use an old drafting board technique called projection. A good explanation for it can be found in the book Engineering Drawing by Thomas E. French. The trouble with starting one's drawing career in CAD is one does not get an appreciation for the methods that came before. In many cases the lessons of old can still be applied today.
