Default Viewports are driving me nuts...

    AutoCAD 2008

I have 4 viewports on my layout tab... I click on them and change the property to "hidden" rather than "As displayed" and then when I plot everything is hidden, BUT as soon as I click "Save" it changes the viewport back to AS displayed... I have searched all over the properties for things that are different from my other ports that work fine but nothing seems to be different... Any ideas as to what I am missing...?

    Thank you for the help

Does it have anything to do with viewports being locked or not?

This same thing happened to me and the only way I could get around it from happing was to open a new drawing copy every thing into the new drawing except the lay out tabs. Then delete out the old view ports from your old layout tabs. Save that drawing and then copy those layout tabs into your new coped drawing. From there re draw your view ports. I know this is not the right way to fix this problem but it got me around the problem.

    Good luck.
