Get the properties window open....?

I can't figure out how to just change the color of just one single dimension in my drawing. I have 3 main dimensions, two of them I want to be red, and one I want to be white. I tried "dimstyle", and I went to modify > text, but that changes the colors of all my dimensions in the drawing, say I want to just change the color of just one single dimension. Does anyone know how to do that?

Get the properties window open....?

Yes I do, but it doesn't do anything when I click on the dimension and then change the color. (sorry I sound like such an idiot here, but I'm sure I'm probably overcomplicating things. To change the entity color in CADkey '97, it took like 5 steps...)

In properties you should have a text drop down menu where you can change the text colour, and a lines and arrows drop down, where you can change the dimension lines and arrows' colours.

Lol, I see that now. The only thing that was visible before was the "general" section in the properties menu. Just as I thought that was ridiculously simple.... I did try using help at first, but it was getting to exactly what I was trying to do.
In CADkey, I had to first exit out of everthing, then click format>entity>change>color>"select color">single>"select entity">OK. It took me forever to figure that out. The simplicity of this program blows my mind, but I do appreciate the help very much. I'm catching on.

You must first select the dimension then right-click properties.
If you want to change the color of the entire dimension, under the General heading, just select Color and change it there or select Bylayer under Color and select Layer and place it on a layer of the color you want.
To change colors of individual components of the dimension, you can do that under the individual headings, Lines & Arrows: "Dim Line color" & "Ext Line color" and under Text: "Text color"
