Default Project 3d model lines to a single plane

I am an occasional user of 2000 now but way back, I was a pretty extensive user of R13. I remember that there was a simple command that we used that would project all lines (hidden ones too) of a 3d model onto a single plane. It was a simple way to suck a line drawing out of a model.
Anyone know what that command might have been, and if so, does it exist in 2000?

You are looking to use the SOLVIEW, and SOLDRAW commands.

I think your right. I remembered "project" but got no results. I'm going to look for the lisp or one like it.

I messed around with solview but it will take me some time to figure it out. Never used it back in the day....

    Thanks!

in this project command, i have to select each object seperately , can i select object as "all"???
this command only projects only simple lines, it does not combined with flatten command of express tools of acad 2006, which projects 3d solids to 2d, but that command doest work for 3d simple lines, can u combine those two?
one more thing, i observed that my osnap setting gets reset to none after any command, ie i have to set osnap setting each time after any new command. what to do for this
