    Default Extrude & Extrude faces

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I am sorry bugging you guys with the Extrude command. Anyone available to make a tutorial step by step using this two different commands and maybe some explanations?

Specially that extrusion along a path is very interesting. I have two boxes and want to extrunde faces along a path ( that is an arc between the boxes). I was trying to change UCS but each time I received the same unhappy result.

    Any idea?

Post a picture of the 2d items and what you want to do.
ie..take a screen pic (of you autocad screen) and maybe bring it into MS paint or better and put what you want to see and I will take a stab at it for you.

Hit F1 and type in EXTRUDE within the search. If you struggle with that
then post up as we offer, to get help.

UCS is the key to doing 3D, a tough concept at first but just like
those chocs with a soft centre, worth the wait !

    Default I solved the problem

Right now I have another question about render. After I render with a demo from AR3, on the window of raytrace I have a picture with many horisontal black lines.

Any idea why is that and how to eliminate that problem. Picture available on request.

Most likely this is a limitation of the demo version. Many render demos put horizontal bars or watermarks on the final image to prevent you using them commercially.

This post is rather off topic but I'll let it pass this time

Well, I solved the extruding problem along an arc path and landed in the render problem. That is why I posted here.

I just thought my computer was not compatible with the ar3 and that is why I ask it.

    Thank you for understanding

I just checked the Accurender web site and this is what it says about the trial version:

Try before you buy. This is a fully functional version except it has limited materials, light fixture, and plant libraries, and it also draws thin black lines across the final rendered image.

If anyone else would like to try Accurender, you can find it here: http://www.accurender.com/download.htm
