Hey all
I have been away from autocad for a while I got dumped into microstation, upon migrating back I have been stumped by simple things heres another simple one I can use a hand figuring out!! if yall would that is!!
here it is
open the viewport, scale it, pan around get it all nicey nice, now looking at special linetypes such as tree lines and hedges, they are in modelspace but not in paperspace in the VP, something is wrong because they appear in certain areas as straight lines no characteristics of the linetype it is supposed to be!!! there must be something else I need to do in the VP to allow them to be visible i did the ltscale thing in modelspace and that helped me get them in to modelspace at the correct size but nothing shows up in the vp PLEASE HELP

Explore the PSLTSCALE system variable
tried the psltscale variable at was already at 1 reset to 0 and still nothing reset back to 1 and nothing what else could it be ?? deadline approaching !!
then try setting ltscale for the viewport properties, and have ltscale in MS set to 1.
Use LINETYPE to re-load all of your linetypes in (preferable fro acadiso.lin... they can get corrupted) & check a few entities in Properties to see that they don't carry a custom linetype scale. Then, as has been said, set PSLTSCALE to 1 & LTSCALE to 1.
to alan cullens reply,
how do I find the viewport properties??
Click on the viewport, then type PROPERTIES. then in the properties dialogue box, look for Linetype scale. Set it for what you want plotted. e.g. if you want the plot scale to be 1:200, set linetype scale to 0.2.

I have the full version of civil running the treeline is offered under the special lines dropdown and I can draw them as such but .... ya know the rest; can I get the linetype as a download somewhere??
