Default Setting base angle 0d00'00" to an arbitrary line ?

I've only been using Autocad for a couple weeks so I apologize if the answer to this question is really obvious.

Here's my problem: I've taken some measurements around a building with a theodolite and everytime I moved it, I would set the 0 angle to the previous spot I was taking measures from. So now I have 6 points around the building each with 4-5 measuring lines that start from it (distance and angle) but every point has its own 0d00'00" angle...

I can draw the first station without a problem because the initial angle can be the default East 0d00'00", it doesn't really matter... but after that, I can't figure out how to like, select a line and tell autocad "this is your new 0 for now" then draw the field data, and repeat that with each point.

I hope this makes sense, let me know if you need clarifications.

You could rotate your UCS [UCS > New > Object] and use your last drawn traverse leg as the object to align the UCS.
