    Default Invalid or Obsolete Login

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I'm having a lot of trouble logging in. It was hit and miss all day yesterday. I would enter my id and password and it told me it was invalid or obsolete. I would enter it again and it would say the same thing. I go take a break for a few minutes and come back and enter my info and I would log in fine. I go to a post and go to reply to the post and have to log in again. Or what's really frustrating is it would let me click Reply to Post but then wait until I submit what I wrote and then make me log in and then tell me what I entered was invalid or obsolete. So hopefully I can get this posted without having to log in again

Thanks David. Hopefully it's something simple.

Hmm. I haven't come across that one before. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Did this start just recently or last week after the forum moved?

My reply was placed before your question as if I replied before you asked the question?

There are a few weird things about your posts too. If you look at your response to my reply in this thread, you'll notice that it's been placed above it!

There appears to be something wrong with the timings - that would explain a few other things but right now I'm not sure what the root of the problem is.

David...it's only when I reply to a post here. I replied to a post elsewhere in the forum and it was fine.

That's because more than one hour has elapsed since the last post in that thread. The datestamp on your post is one hour behind everuone else - either that or mine is one hour ahead

    I'm working on it...

I looked at the time on my post and it is the same as the time on my computer.

    Hope this helps.

For some reason, your posts are one hour behind mine and so appear above them in the thread - weird. I need to investigate - anyone else noticed weird stuff?

I just thought of something that might create an issue in the future. The U.S. will be falling back an hour this weekend (I think). Will we have to change our time in our profiles?

    Don't you just love technology?
