Cad64
3ds object? What exactly do you mean? Is this something you imported from 3D Studio Max with the 3DSIN command? You know Max can Export to dwg, right? Why don't you post a screenshot of the object, or better yet, post the file so we can take a look. SLW210
You should be able to explode it into faces and use the F2S.lsp (Face to Solid) on it.
pov
i tried it but my wall 100% vertical.any other idea?if u want to make section is necessery to be solid?
hazardman
a solution with 3d max is that you could use the section object in the create panel under shapes...there will be a Section button...once you orient it and place it where you want go the modifier panel and click on the create shape button...then you can select the newly created spline and export it...and you may have to clean it up a bit once it's in autocad... Cad64
As suggested by SLW210, I exploded the Polyface Mesh and converted the object to a 3D Solid with the F2S routine. Take a look and see if it will work for you. sample[2].dwg

Cad64
Don't worry about it, keep posting until you get a solution to your problem. But please, try to give us more information and explain exactly what the problem is? What only works right in 2 axis?

Cad64
You can't find it? HERE, click on the 3rd search result that says F2S.lsp (Faces-to-Solids) . . .
hazem.talha
Haha, actually I did see this in my google search. I just wasn't sure which of these results had the actual download. I kept finding this freedom2surf website for some reason... Anywho, thanks a million.
