    Default Help with Fields

i'm trying to use the field command in autocad 2007.
i have a property to subdivide. the drawing is set in feet. i created a field that references a polyline to show the area of the lot. the lot area is to be displayed in acres. i went to Additional Format and changed the conversion factor.
now i want to copy the text to the other properties, reference their respective polyline areas, but the Additional Format resets back to default.
can i copy the formatting with the text?

No... it holds the format if you copy the entity it's referenced to as well but not when you associate to another... I'd just copy the formula & paste it each time.
