    Default Crashed Profile

    Hiya Guys (and gals ofc!)

Hope you all had a great holiday, however, whenever and whereever you spent it!

I started up my AutoCAD this morning and 'lo and behold - I was missing a couple of my custom pulldown menus. Now this happens once in a while, so I popped open my Options window, flipped over to the Profile tab, deleted the profile and then re-imported it and Set it Current and leaned back to start work.

    But no sirree!!

The profile did nothing to give me back my pulldown menus!

My solution was to type MENU and load up the CUI again, and then export it as a new profile.

But why does this happen? What could cause the profile to suddenly loose it's CUI? How are these things connected?? Help?? Anyone, Help?

Without being too protective of myself. Liger, I will try to explain, you are FAQ. Can't you go check out the FAQ? If it isn't there, then maybe you should write one to suit your current dilema.

    Oops, back to the jungle.

Seriuosly, the only thing I can think of, is someone has used your computer over the break as a learning tool, and stuffed something up. I know my computer has been used, I do not know yet to what degree, but I will find out on Monday.

The profile was fine yesterday - so something happened between then and now.

And the profile is on a network, so it's (hopefully) not my computers fault.

and how in All That is Holy should I write a FAQ about a question when I don't have the answer? If I had the answer I wouldn't post here, silly!!

Ahh, c'mon mate, This should be a good one for you to get back into things for the new year. I know you can do it, and I also know I will be dragged into it.
