    Ok, now you have brought it up: no one was answering my post about this on another thread so I will hijack this one!

    The tutorials for ADT/AEC work show typically separate 'constructs' for external walls and internal walls - brought together by overlays. However they don't give the reason.

    Why it is sensible to separate, particularly, these two? Is it really necessary for a simple one or two storey house? I can see it is good for other 'elements'...

    Who, reading this, does use the 3D ADT/AEC tools properly and completely?
