    Default copy/multiple copy?

Okay, so my copy selection command from the shortcut menu, and the keyboard alias command(s) for copy all are set to multiple, on their own. On a different workstation that I use, these commands are somehow not set to multiple; I have to go through that extra step of choosing <multiple> and hitting enter, in order to complete the command. Is that something that is embedded in the macro for the command, or how do I set it to automatically do multiple?

    Hi,

you set it in the copy-command:(red is input)

    Command: COPY
    Select objects: 1 found

    Select objects:
Current settings: Copy mode = Multiple
    Specify base point or [Displacement/mOde] <Displacement>: o
    Enter a copy mode option [Single/Multiple] <Multiple>: s
Specify base point or [Displacement/mOde/Multiple] <Displacement>:

This returned the Copy mode to Single....

Yep, that does the job for the newest versions of AutoCAD ('07, '0, but it (setting it right at the command line) doesn't work for say, 2004 (I am forced to use '04 at work). The command line prompts are different in '04, they don't give you the option of choosing the "mOde", only setting "Multiple" for each event, but it always reverts to "Single" for the next instance of the command. Anybody know how to switch the settings for version 2004, so that I can have "Multiple" Copy as the default?

Thanks for the link. Not sure why someone would want to go back to having <single> as the default, IMHO, it is quicker to hit the escape or return to end the command, rather than hit two buttons (M + Enter) in the beginnning.
