First of all I have to apologize if I'm asking some silly question but I'm not a drafter myself yet again I DB admin for drafting company that was faced with a problem that goes beyond the knowledge of our drafters
We have areal map of sewer system that I need to find a way to connect to database with informations that is beeing fairly often updated and is to much to be displayed on the drawing itself.
I played around in autocad 2004 all the way to 2008 with database links and I think I'm fairly familiar with the mechanizm itself. Sadly does not quite do the trick...
Is there any way to link that data to an object where I could simply select the object and it would show it in some sord of table/pane/popup? based on a link to a record or even a querry?
What also would be fantastic is the data would stay with a drawing in some forum in DWFs?
If someone would be kind to point me in the right direction it would be great
THX!
