Default Need ideas... rotating associative dimensions

    Hello all,

I need some direction for a solution that I'm thinking about. I'm using autocad 2004, and have a little experience with Lisp and VBA, but would prefer a lisp solution if possible.

Currently I can draw a line, and dimension that line with an associative dimension. If the line is drawn at an angle I can manually rotate the dimension to match the angle of the line. When I change the length of the line using the grips, the associative dimension does a good job of tracking the change of the length of the line. However, if I also change the angle of the line using the grips, the dimension does not automatically rotate to match the angle of the line. I have to manually change the rotation of the dimension to match that of the line.

What are some possabilities for making it so that when I change the angle of the line using the grips, the associative dimension automatically rotates to match the angle of the line?

    Thanks as always,

    Joe
