How can ANS131 hatch at a scale of 700 on one drawing then look massive when the same hatch and scale is set on another dwg?
    LTSCALE = 1
PSLTSCALE = 1 on both drawings

All I can think of is that one of the hatches has come from acad.pat and the other has come from acadiso.pat

they are subtlely different; in a very similar way to that of the linetype files acad.lin and acadiso.lin

This would have nothing to do with annotative scale, would it?

By the way, Blue, Tiger now has 2008, and she is going for broke on what the hell annotative means. "This is not a real word, what is it".

But you know our Tiger. She is determined to find out what the hell this annotative thingy is, before she presents herself to you, to find out what the hell it is all about.

God I love all this playup.

I wish her all the best wishes in the world.
It took me some time before I gotten my head around it.
I have since condensed my 'How To...' on the subject into a short almost fool-proof document. It however does not delve into the realms of explaining the why's and wherefore's of how it all works.
It does however explain how to get it to work as simply as possible.

I await assisting Tiger (and anyone else) with Annotative Issues.

OK Happy (or not so happy after yesterday....)
How does it display if you copy 1 hatch into the other drawing? Do they display the same? Were the hatches both created in their respective drawings, or have they been copy/pasted from others?

    Cheers

P.S. Glad that you got something other than missery out of the game.

That is a very noble response, Blue.

    But the reality is.......

Tiger is on MSN at the moment with Hedge. What are her chances? (with getting to grips with Annotative?)

I think the time is ripe for me to just wander off into the very wet sunset.
